The Partnership for the National Trails System, in conjunction with El Camino Real de los Tejas National Historic Trail Association, will be hosting a program called "Our Voices Remain: Indigenous Perspectives Along our National Trails." The intent is to feature an Indigenous speaker whose ancestors utilized the Camino Real, and lives in the area, and whose people may still use the trail and its sacred spaces.

Amy Heath, of the Caddo Nation of Oklahoma, will share her perspective of the trail, her work on an Interactive GIS Storymap focused on El Camino Real de los Tejas, and her experience about ongoing developments and impacts of the modern world on the Camino.
